Hon Smart Ijeoma has commended Governor Sheriff Oborevwori for his strong commitment to technical education and infrastructure development

The Delta State Commissioner for Technical Education Hon Smart Ijeoma Ufoh conducted an inspection visit to the ongoing Model Technical College in Oghareki, Ethiope West Local Government Area.
The visit comes as construction work on the project nears completion.
The Commissioner for Technical Education in Delta State expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work at the Model Technical College l in Oghareki, located in Ethiope West Local Government Area.
The Commissioner confirmed that the project is approximately eighty percent complete, with only minor finishing works remaining.
According to the contractor handling the project, construction is progressing steadily and the school is expected to be fully completed and ready for delivery by the end of March 2026.
The Commissioner commended the Governor of Delta State, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, for what he described as a strong commitment to technical education and infrastructure development across the state.
He reaffirmed the Ministry’s determination to ensure the timely completion of the project, noting that the Model Technical School is expected to significantly enhance access to quality technical education in the area.
When completed, the facility is expected to provide modern learning environments and practical training opportunities aimed at equipping students with industry-relevant skills.
The Delta State Government says the project forms part of broader efforts to strengthen technical and vocational education and promote youth empowerment across the state.
