Ahead of the defection of the Delta state Governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, the entire party hierarchy, the state executive and House of Assembly, from the Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress in Delta State, there had been rumours and denials.
In what looked like a huge game of hide and seek, the state governor and the Party Leadership had openly denied rumours of possible defection from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC). However, in an exclusive interaction with the former Isoko South Local Government Council Chairman, Hon Itchako Malik Ikpokpo, he had stated with distinct clarity that the defection rumour was real and authentic.
As the reality now prove him right, could he be said to have been prophetic?
